Again, read the contract carefully. Investigate how much your State guarantees annuities (if any). Don't rely on the salesman or the company solely for advice. Check out the company involved. Don't put all your money into such a contract. In fact, if a salesman suggests putting most of your money into an Annuity - walk away. He is looking for the largest commission possible, not for your best interests.
